Superside is not a provider of general-purpose AI models (”GPAI"), frequently referred to as “Generative AI”, “Large Language Models”, or “Foundation/Base Models”. Superside is also not a downstream modifier - we do not perform any modifications or “fine-tuning” of GPAI.
Superside is a deployer (sometimes referred to as a “professional user”) of third-party GPAI tools, but we do not deploy any high-risk AI systems to our Customers.

Superside complies with applicable AI regulations, including the EU AI Act and emerging U.S. state requirements.
Under the EU AI Act, Superside is a deployer of non-high-risk AI systems. Accordingly, Superside meets the Act’s universal obligations (which apply to all AI Systems i.e. AI literacy), and transparency obligations (which apply to certain AI Systems i.e. interaction awareness, and generation/manipulation of deep fakes).

Account-level controls: Set your AI preferences at the account level. When AI is disabled, it's unavailable for any project under your account—no exceptions.
Project-level flexibility: Enable AI at the account level but disable it for specific projects. You get granular control exactly where you need it.
Your preferences: We work closely with you to implement your preferences. If a specific request can’t be met, we’ll proactively communicate that and collaborate with you on clear, acceptable alternatives.

AI Governance Committee: Our dedicated AI Governance Committee oversees Superside’s use of AI ensuring responsible and ethical use across the organization.
Comprehensive policies: All personnel are required to read and acknowledge our AI Acceptable Use Policy on an annual basis. Ensuring that AI is used responsibly and that your instructions are followed at every stage.
Regulatory readiness: We maintain a forward-looking roadmap for compliance with evolving global AI regulations, including the EU AI Act.
AI Risk Management: We conduct regular AI risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to proactively address potential risks.

Enterprise-grade security is built into every aspect of how users collaborate and get work done. Our security program includes independent assurance and clear operating controls, including:

Annual third-party penetration testing.
Annual Security training for personnel.
Data privacy: Superside complies with applicable data protection and privacy laws, including the GDPR and the CCPA.
Encryption at rest and in transit, continuous monitoring, and strict access practices.
SSO Support: Users may login to our platform (Superspace) using Google SSO or SAML.
We offer a streamlined access to our platform with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), which allows customers to use logical access definitions for better control over accounts and usage.

Superspace, Superside's AI-powered creative management platform, integrates optional third-party AI models to power features such as Brand Brain, AI Briefing, AI Insights, and Brand Models. These features may be disabled at an account level.
When you use an AI-enabled feature, only the data necessary to fulfill that specific request is transmitted to the third-party model provider via real-time API calls. Our model providers contractually guarantee enterprise-grade commitments including, never using your data for model training and limiting data retention to that strictly necessary to process and return responses.
Superspace applies strict access controls and logical tenant separation so that each customer's data, including brand context, project data, and AI-generated outputs, remains isolated to their account. When AI features reference platform data to provide suggestions or insights, they can only access data that the logged-in user can already access based on their role and permissions. Data is never exposed across accounts.

We do not deliver unmodified AI output to customers unless expressly requested. Every AI-generated element incorporated into deliverables is reviewed, refined, and elevated by our world-class creative professionals.
AI helps us work faster and explore more possibilities. But it's always guided by human judgment and brand understanding to ensure quality, remove bias and hallucinations, and deliver great work.

Intellectual Property & Indemnification

We respect the intellectual property rights of authors and our customers. We stay abreast of the latest developments in intellectual property law to ensure that we handle all rights appropriately.
Superside stands behind the originality and authenticity of our deliverables. The IP infringement indemnity we provide to all of our customers doesn't distinguish between human authored deliverables and deliverables incorporating any form of AI output.
