Just a few months ago, we were writing about what we learned after completing our first 200 creative projects using the latest generative AI tools and guided by the expert hands and minds of world-class creative talent.
Now, we’re surprising even ourselves by announcing that Superside has helped its customers leverage AI in more than 500 design projects and counting. In December 2023, we were in the early beta testing phase of our first AI Services and, admittedly, still learning a lot. Now we’re in full-scale mode—officially launching our AI-Enhanced Creative Services and AI Consulting Services to everyone.
Speaking of efficiency, enough of this fanfare. Let’s recap the results we’ve seen and the learnings we've revealed along the way.
In December, we reported savings of 3,700 design hours and $300,000 in design dollars when recapping our first 200+ AI graphic design projects.
Now after completing 500+ AI-Enhanced Creative projects. these numbers seem pale in retrospect as we can shout from the rooftops that we’ve helped our customers save more than 17,770 design hours and $1,400,000 design dollars. That’s right. More projects and more efficient results.

Not only did we go from 200 to over 500 projects, we also quintupled the number of design hours and dollars saved. Results our AI Services Team believes stem from the improved integration of AI in creative workflows, and perhaps the most overlooked part of AI-powered creative, properly identifying which projects are a great fit for AI.
On average, our AI-enhanced creative projects were delivered two times faster and up to 60% more efficiently than projects that didn’t use these advances. AI-powered design projects also earned a 4.9/5 customer satisfaction (CSAT) rating.

Are you about to get your daily fill of cringe-worthy neon-tinged AI masterpieces? Absolutely not. When you pair the right tools with the right talent, AI-enhanced can be photorealistic, distinctive, playful and incredibly engaging.
Every industry has its own unique challenges related to the images used in online campaigns. News app SmartNews had a monumental challenge when it came to sports images and licensing rights. They needed sports images that looked real, but not so real that they infringed on the athletes’, sports organizations’ or broadcasters’ rights. In only 4 hours, Superside generated 150+ images.
In preparation for launching its new skin barrier cream, Unigloves had to build a library of lifestyle images showcasing the cream in real-world settings. They didn’t have time or budget to organize a photo shoot or go through the painstaking task of identifying workable stock images, which made the project perfect for AI. We helped them build a library of 250+ brand images, using 57% fewer design hours and getting to market quicker.
Cloud-based integration as a service (iPaaS), Boomi wanted ad creative that set them apart from the predictable (and forgettable) lifestyle and stock photos overpopulating the marketing channels. Superside created workflows that allowed for rapid exploration, pushing creative boundaries. Not only has Boomi tripled creative output, they’ve got efficient workflows that continue to scale.
Ok, we admit it, we love to see what AI can do. When we had a customer event in New York City, we knew it was a chance to show and tell brands about the potential of AI—with custom Pixar-style posters for each attendee, naturally.
We had to capture the illustration style perfectly and make each poster reflective of each attendee. Oh, and do this on a really tight timeline, like 5 days tight. But we did it! We gathered the data, developed the prompts and refined each image until it was pixel perfect.
When we compared the design costs between the AI-Enhanced Creative and traditional creative workflows, we saved $272,921.
Biotech brand Synthego wanted to get the word about their newest tech for World CRISPR Day with a promotional video. With a compressed timeline and budget, a traditional video shoot was out of the question. But what we could do was use motion design in combination with AI to get to the finish line in only 5 days. In this case, AI was used to speed the development of the illustrations and the iterations needed to fully animate the video.
Real estate photo and video edit provider Pixlmob was on a quest to refresh its visual identity. We suggested using AI as a way to quickly explore a range of color palette and illustration styles and, in turn, iterate on the style that Pixlmob chose. In record time, we helped them 2x design speed and create 400+ branded images. What we’ve done for Pixlmob is just a taste of what’s possible for branding.
